The rider gets on the bull and gets a secure grip with his riding hand on the rope. When he is ready he gives the signal to let the bull out into the arena. Once out into the arena the rider will need to stay on the bull for 8 seconds. The rider cannot use his non-riding hand, and the rider cannot touch the bull with his non-riding hand. The ride can get a score up to 100 points, the bull and the rider both get scored up to 25 points from two judges.
